Employee Scheduling Assistant Frequently Asked Questions
I can't schedule past December 31, 2011.  Do I have to purchase a new license?

No.  ESA 2000 runs on a continuous sliding three year window.  Your program is probably set with a starting date of January 1, 2009, and that is why you can’t schedule past 2010.

If you’d like to keep a copy of your 2008  schedules for your records, you’ll have to create a backup first-  once you change the starting date, your 2009 schedules will be erased from the program.  To do this, go to “File” (from the opening screen), then select “Backup Database” and save it in another location.

Then , for each department, go to “Departments”, then “Change **** Department Settings.”  On the second line, there is a window where you can change the first day of the three year sliding window.  Make it January 1, 2010, acknowledge the warning, and then you’ll be set for 2012.

You’ll have to accomplish this again next year, and so on.
